Ryan 'Employee' Town Halls; Jail Visitor Becomes Jail Inmate & More

A pair of "employee" town hall meetings will be held in the area Thursday by Speaker Paul Ryan. The Republican congressman has been criticized for failing to hold traditional town halls that are open to the public. Ryan's office announced Wednesday that he'll be visiting WPR Technologies in Oak Creek at 11:30 a.m., then Burlington Graphic Systems in Racine at 12:30 p.m. At both stops, Ryan is to take questions from employees, but not the media. Neither event is open to the public. On Friday in Madison, Ryan is to accept an award from the Boy Scouts, then hold a press gaggle.
