(WGTD)---Racine-based SC Johnson is moving about 170 jobs from facilities in Chicago to Mt. Pleasant.
According to a news release, the relocations are the result of an organizational change made a number of months ago.
The employees will move into a building at 1326 Willow Rd. which the company purchased from Educators Credit Union two years ago.
The relocations will be phased in through the end of next year.
SC Johnson said no one's being laid off.
The company will be left with about 100 workers in downtown Chicago and at a manufacturing plant in the city's Pullman Neighborhood.
