(WGTD)---The City of Kenosha is preparing drivers who traverse the city via Sheridan Rd. through the downtown area for a major traffic disruption.
Crews will be replacing the embedded streetcar tracks that cross Sheridan at 56th St.
It necessitates a full closure of Sheridan for about two weeks. Detours will be posted.
The work is expected to begin June 12th.
A public meeting to discuss the closure will be held Monday at 5 p.m. at the city’s bus barn on 39th Ave.
