(WGTD FM)--- There will be increased police presence in and around the Kenosha County Courthouse campus as the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse is set to begin Monday. Sheriff David Beth made the announcement Friday in a press release. Beth said in the statement "Our responsibility to public safety is of utmost importance. These measures are meant to ensure the safety of the public that has legal business in and around the courthouse campus as well as Civic Center employees while maintaining the integrity of the trial."
The west side of the court house on 10th avenue will be blocked off for authorized vehicles only.
