From the City of Racine:
The City of Racine’s Department of Public Works will be mobilizing crews to pick up flood-damaged E-waste and household bulky items between Monday, September 12 and Friday, September 16. Items that are eligible for pick-up include:
1. Furniture
2. Mattresses and Box Springs
3. Carpeting
4. Freon containing White Goods (Refrigerator, Freezer)
5. Non-Freon containing White Goods (Washer, Dryer, Stove, Furnace)
6. Televisions
This special pick-up is for FLOOD-DAMAGED MATERIALS ONLY. Residents should separate white goods and televisions from the rest of their bulky items.
Residents can arrange for pick-up curb-side with the Department of Public Works Field Office at 262-636-9126 between 7:00am and 3:00pm.
