United Way of Kenosha County Seeks Volunteers; Providing Free Income Tax Preperation For Those Who Qualify (Video)

(WGTD) -- United Way of Kenosha County is ramping up for it's 14th year of providing free income tax preparation for those qualifying, underserved residents. Thanks to a family of volunteers, VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) was able to serve over 900 residents and bring back over $1.6 million dollars in refunds to Kenosha County.

Jevon Claussen, Director Of Community Impact Operations says United Way Kenosha County is in great need of volunteers for this tax season. "You do not have to know tax law to volunteer, there are positions like greeters, runners, and other duties that do not prepare taxes. We are grateful to have such amazing volunteers who give their time and energy to serve others in need."
