Update: Arrest in One of Three Kenosha Shooings; New Racine Homicide

(WGTD)---An arrest has been made in one of three shooting incidents that occurred in Kenosha this past week. Meanwhile, Racine recorded another homicide Friday.

Police were called to the 1800 blk. of Villa St. on a 'shots fired' report Friday afternoon.  A Journal Times reporter and a resident separately saw two people led away in handcuffs. 

Meanwhiule, 57-year-old Eddie Pendleton of Kenosha appeared in court Friday for a bond hearing in connection with the death of 42-year-old Marlon Allen. The shooting occurred early Wednesday morning in an apartment building in thr 3500 blk. of 50th St.

Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley said in court that Allen had sold cocaine to Pendleton in the past, according to a report in the Kenosha News.  

Pendleton is expected to be formally charged on Tuesday.  

No arrests have been annouced in the other two cases.

A late-night shooting on 14th Ave. just north of Washington Rd. left one man dead and another wounded. The dead man was identified as 25-year-old Osiel Jaimes-Estrada. The injured man's condition isn't known.  

In the third Kenosha incident, a man suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds in a confrontation with a group of males in the 1500 blk. of 61st St. 

Police are asking residents with video surveillance cameras in the areas where the shootings took place to check their footage for anything suspicious. 

Police department spokesman Lt. James Beller said there's no evidence to suggest that the crimes were somehow connected.
