(WGTD)---A state appeals court has ruled against a patron of the Bristol Renaissance Faire who tripped in rough terrain several years ago and severely injured her leg.

Kira Gabriel of Antioch sued the Faire, alleging negligence.

The accident on the grounds of the faire happened on a partially forested, uneven hillside with ruts and protruding tree roots.

Kenosha Circuit Court Judge Angelina Gabriele dismissed the lawsuit because the plaintiff couldn’t say specifically what made her trip.

The appeals court agreed, saying there’s no telling exactly what happened, and that the fall could’ve been the result of the plaintiff’s own missteps.

Gabriele’s attorney says he plans to ask the appeals court to reconsider its decision.
