(WGTD)---A Kenosha Joint Services 9-1-1 dispatcher guided a pregnant woman through childbirth earlier this month.
In her 13 years as a 9-1-1 dispatcher and call taker, Kristin McCoy had never fielded a call from a woman about to give birth. That changed May 11th.

While she remained calm and cool over the phone, after the call was complete, McCoy was said to have been "very excited" to have had a hand in a delivery.
At last report, mother and newborn were doing fine.
