Racine Police have identified the man who was shot to death on Yout St. Saturday night as 20-year-old Marcus Caldwell, Jr. Police responded to the scene two blocks east of Douglas Ave. just before 8 and found Caldwell dead. No arrests have been made.

Also in Racine, just after midnight, a car crashed into a parked vehicle near Water St. and Park Ave. The driver had to be extracted from the wreckage and died at the hospital.

Mt Pleasant Police are said to be investigating a shooting overnight in a normally quiet neighborhood south of Highway 20 and a few blocks east of Case High School. According to reports on Racine County News/Scanner, a man was shot in the stomach in an apartment complex. One suspect reportedly was arrested. Residents reported hearing multiple gunshots and saw a shattered first floor sliding glass patio door.
