Greta Neubauer Announces Candidacy for Mason Assembly Seat

Racine--Greta Neubauer, State Representative Cory Mason’s legislative aide, announced her candidacy for the 66th District in the Wisconsin Assembly.  That is the seat Mason is leaving after being newly-elected as the mayor of Racine. Neubauer is a very pro-active environmentalist who says she wants to enact a “Green New Deal” that would provide living wage jobs---and---protect the environment. She is the daughter of former State Representative and Democratic state party chairman Jeff Neubauer and Court of Appeals Judge Lisa Neubauer.

A special election to replace Mason is set for January 16th---a day after his official resignation from the State Assembly takes place. If a primary is needed---it would be held on December 19th.
