New Charges for Former KUSD Prinicpal

A former Kenosha Unified principal who was fired for alleged misconduct is facing a new set of charges, according to a report in the Kenosha News.

Cherise Easley was expected to appear in court Tuesday after having been accused of using district funds to pay for a trip to a conference not related to district matters.

Easley also allegedly had the district’s print shop create 100 spiral bound notebooks with pink and green covers for use by members of her college sorority. Pink and green are the sorority’s colors.

Easley, who once led the Edward Bain School of Language and Art, was previously accused of taking equipment from the school for her own use.
