Over Half of Registered Voters Vote Early in Racine and Kenosha Counties

(WGTD)---Anyone who's still sitting on an absentee ballot is advised to drop them in a drop box or at the office of your city, village or town clerk. The ballots must be received by Tuesday at 8 p.m. Ballots postmarked by not delivered until after that time won't count.

Early in-person voting ended statewide Sunday. 

According to the Wisconsin Elections Commission, as of Sunday night, 56% of registered voters in both Kenosha and Racine counties voted early, either in-person or through the absentee ballot process. In Walworth County it's 52%.

The polls open Tuesday morning at 7--they close at 8. Voters are allowed to register at the polls with the proper identification.
