Search for Missing Pleasant Prairie Boy Ends Safely

(WGTD)---A four-year-old boy from Pleasant Prairie who'd been missing since July has been found in Michigan.

Azariah Petrick, as suspected, had been in the company of his father, who's now in police custody. 

A man who saw Azariah's photo on a Michigan TV station's Facebook page recognized him and  his father, Mark Petrick. 

According to a news release from Pleasant Prairie Police, the pair had been staying inside a RV in the parking lot of an RV repair shop near Traverse City. 

The boy is now safe with his mother. 

The father is expected to be extradited to Wisconsin to face charges of Interference with Child Custody.
