(WGTD)---A driver on I-94 in Racine County who was clocked on radar Monday evening at 125 mph was eventually arrested with the help of a police dog following a foot chase.

According to a news release, the deputy, on patrol in a fully-marked squad, was passed by the speeding vehicle. The deputy--a supervisor in the department-- then gave chase. He broke it off after the driver started weaving in and out of traffic.

The vehicle was observed exiting on Highway 11.

Another deputy with a canine spotted the car, traveling with its lights out, going fast and running stop signs.

The driver spun out and stalled on Highway 11 near Sylvania Ave. and fled on foot. He didn't get far. K9 Friday apprehended the man by his arm.

18-year-old Kamryn Harris from Zion was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained as he tried to escape from the dog.

A handgun, marijuana and drug packaging material were recovered from the car.

He's expected to face a host of charges.
