Mt. Pleasant Hit and Run Victim Dies; Alleged Driver Located and Arrested

The bicyclist who was struck by a hit and run driver on Sheridan Rd. in Mt. Pleasant less than a day ago has died from his injuries. Police also reported overnight that the alleged driver has been located and is now in custody.

A 59-year-old Pleasant Prairie man was taken into custody after a three-hour stand-off with Pleasant Prairie Police at his home in the 8500 block of 48th Avenue Monday night. At approximately 7:15 PM---neighbors in the area called police and reported that a
