12 People Homeless After Labor Day House Fires in Kenosha

One Kenosha home was destroyed in a fire Monday afternoon--- and---a neighboring home was heavily damaged. The fire at 4611 18th Avenue has displaced a total of 12 people. It reportedly started in the attic.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan says it suspects that smoke and odors from wildfires in Canada have made it here.  

The haze and smell are being pulled south behind a cold front that moved through overnight.
