Chelsea Clinton in Racine Yesterday

During a campaign appearance for her mother in Racine yesterday, Chelsea Clinton spoke out against comments made 11-years ago by Donald Trump about groping and sexually assaulting women, as well as all the negative things he's said throughout the campaign. Chelsea Clinton said "words DO matter," and she never thought she'd see "the normalization of hate speech from Donald Trump and Republicans." Clinton said her mother wants to help build a country "in which we are stronger together," while Donald Trump appears to have a very different goal in mind.

Clinton mentioned her mother's efforts to improve efforts on mental health, and said that "if anything else in this country affected 1-in-5 Americans, we'd be talking about it all the time.” On job creation and the need for skilled labor, Clinton said her mother believes in rewarding companies that invest in training.

Chelsea Clinton spoke to a crowd of about 300 at downtown Racine's Living Light Community Center about her mother's values, and goals, while also urging people to register to vote AND take part in early voting.
