Kenosha Police: No Foul Play Suspected in the Death of a Michigan Woman

Updated 3-25; 3-26

Kenosha---No foul play is suspected in the death of a Michigan woman whose body was found in Lake Michigan near the Kemper Center over the weekend.

Police said Tuesday that the results of an autopsy won't be complete until the toxicology report is in, but that there's no indication of foul play and no danger to the public.

A few days before her body was discovered by a person flying a kite, police stumbled upon a vehicle parked just north of the Southport Marine in Harbor Park. The keys were locked inside along with a cell phone. Police determined that the car was registered to Hanover's parents, and that Hanover had been driving it.

The 39 year-old Hanover had a troubled past that reportedly included mental health issues related to a prior violent attack. She had gone missing at least once before.

Family members said they didn’t know why she had been in Kenosha.
