From WGTD News:
A Kenosha man who was convicted of injuring a woman in a domestic violence case in 2014 then charged again last month in connection with injuries to the same woman was re-arrested Tuesday. This time, both 34-year-old Nicholas Mercier and the woman were arrested and jailed. Pleasant Prairie police said Tuesday night that both are expected to be charged with criminal damage that allegedly occurred at a Pleasant Prairie motel. Mercier is facing an additional charge of bail jumping. He'd been ordered to have no contact with the woman when he was charged last month with domestic battery. In that case, the woman suffered a broken arm and had numerous bruises. In the 2014 case, Mercier was convicted of reckless driving after the woman fell from his vehicle during an argument.
