(WGTD) It looks like Foxconn is getting into the ventilator business. In a press releases---Foxconn Industrial Internet---a business group within the Foxconn Technology Group---said it will partner with Medtronic and begin manufacturing Medtronic Puritan Bennet 560 ventilators.
The two companies are ramping up plans to produce 10,000 ventilators over the next year at the Foxconn complex in Mount Pleasant. This specific ventilator is sold in more than 35 countries around the world. It is compact, lightweight and portable and provides airway support for both adults and children. It can be used in clinical settings and at home and provides mobile respiratory support.
