Kenosha's Christmas Tree Arrives at Veterans Memorial Park

Nov. 3, 2026 7:45p

(WGTD)---A slow procession through Kenosha ended Tuesday at Veterans Memorial Park with the safe delivery of the city's official Christmas tree.

The 34-foot Colorado Blue Spruce was donated by the Kenosha Bible Church on the city's west side, according to a news release from the city.

With a police escort, crews from the city's parks department and water utility maneuvered a flatbed carrying the 5,500 pound tree through city streets and under overhead utility lines. The park is located adjacent to the Municipal Building.

The tree will be the centerpiece of the traditional day-after-Thanksgiving ceremony that will officially mark the start of the holiday season.
