(WGTD)---A 19 year-old man who allegedly stole a 15 year old boy's Play Station and Air Jordan shoes, and then purportedly shot him multiple times, was charged in Kenosha Court Wednesday with attempted murder and robbery. Bond for Justin Stapleton was set at $500,000. According to the criminal complaint, the  victim, a student at Indian Trail High School, was shot in the face, left shoulder, left arm and abdomen, and that bullets exited his mid-spine and left leg. Both defendant and victim live with their families at Westwood Estates Trailer Park off of Highway 'H' in Pleasant Prairie. The complaint said most of the shots were fired from outside of the victim's bedroom while the boy's family, including two small children, slept inside. The incident occurred Monday night.  Police recovered the stolen items and a stolen handgun. According to a report in the Kenosha News, Stapleton's attorney said in court Wednesday that her client appeared confused, and that she may request a competency hearing.

(AP, WGTD)---Democratic candidate for governor Tony Evers says if elected he would revisit state air permits given to Foxconn for its manufacturing complex in Mt. Pleasant. In a conversation with the Wisconsin State Journal editorial board, Evers said he thinks Gov. Walker gave Foxconn a--quote--"freebie" on air quality. Evers said he's had many scientists study the DNR approval process and says they found many flaws. At a public hearing on the air permits held at iMET in Sturtevant earlier this year, just two people spoke against granting the permits. And both represented the League of Women Voters.
