A young clergyman from Twin Lakes has been arrested in northeast Wisconsin for allegedly trying to arrange a meeting over the internet with a 13 year-old girl.
Bond for 28 year-old Joshua Scheil was set at $10,000 in Winnebago County Court Monday.
Scheil is pastor at Hope Lutheran Church, a Missouri Synod affiliate in the western Kenosha County town.
Investigators say Scheil sent sexually explicit messages and a photo to a law enforcement officer who’d been posing as the girl.
Scheil was arrested last week when he showed up for the meeting he purportedly had been trying to arrange.
