Update on Spot; TCF & Danish Brotherhood Weapons Calls

Kenosha---A shooting that occurred Friday morning near the TCF Bank at 22nd Ave. and 80th St. was the result of some type of personal issue between the victim and gunman, according to a police dept. spokesman.

Although the man was a bank employee, the shooting had nothing to do with the bank itself, said Lt. Tom Hamm. The man is expected to survive. Police are looking for the gunman.

The man who'd been shot was found by co-workers Friday morning near a car in the parking lot.

The shooting was one of several that occurred in recent days in Kenosha.

In another, police are still looking for a gunman who fired multiple times in the parking lot of the Spot at 22nd Ave. and 75th St. The shooting occurred just after bar time Saturday when the lot was crowded with vehicles. The victim--who was hit once and is expected to survive--was identified as a 25 year-old man from Illinois.

Hamm indicated Monday that it was too early to say whether that shooting was gang-related.

In a third gun call, police found no weapon or shooting when they were called to the Danish Brotherhood at 2206 63rd St. late Sunday night on a report of shots fired. A female was arrested, however, on a disorderly conduct charge.
