We Energies is not expecting any interruptions in service because of the hot weather predicted through the weekend. Spokesman Brian Manthey says recent upgrades have helped increase reliability. The heat will likely lead to higher bills, and Manthey says tips for saving electricity during the hot weather are available on the utility's website The state requires utilities to help customers with medical conditions reconnect their service if it has been shut off. Manthey says We Energies is always working with customers to turn the power back on.
