Donna Matthews was found guilty of the July 4, 2016 murder of Michael Gayan. The jury deliberated for only 2 ½ hours. Matthews was convicted of 1st Degree intentional homicide. The jury found Matthews not guilty of the armed robbery charge.

14-Year-Old-Boy Drowns in East Troy
The body of a 14-year-old boy has been recovered from a lake in East Troy. The Walworth County Sheriff's Office says the boy was swimming in Peters Lake near Camp Timber-Lee about 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The boy was not staying at the camp.

A Pair of Murder Trials on the Monday Docket in Kenosha
The Kenosha County Courthouse is going to be a busy place Monday.
Several hundred potential jurors have been summoned because two murder trials are expected to get underway.

New I-94 Closures
The I-94 reconstruction project will be causing some additional headaches starting this weekend.
For the next several months, entrance and exit ramps at Highways ‘E’ and ‘K’ in Kenosha County and at Highway 11 in Racine County will be closed.
