    Kenosha---The remains of a person found  last spring off of a frontage road near I-94 and Highway 158 have been identified as a Chicago man who'd been missing since 2012.

  • Fire Destroys Mount Pleasant Home

    A home---at 1227 Lawndale Avenue---in Mount Pleasant---was completely destroyed by an early (Monday) morning fire---and---the house next door was significantly damaged. A woman and a child went to the hospital with burns.

    Kenosha---A home sustained moderate damage, but no one was injured--including the family's pets--in a Friday morning fire near Brass Community School.

    Somers---A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Friday for a $40 million facility that'll serve as the main warehouse and distribution center for Ariens Company, a firm that makes snow blowers and lawn care equipment.

    The dash cam on a Kenosha County Sheriff's Dept. squad car captured a close call on I-94 during Sunday's snow storm. 

    According to the department, a deputy responded to assist at an accident scene in the south bound lanes near 142.
