(WGTD FM) Carthage College announced they will postpone their fall sports season after their conference, the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin announced they will postpone games for the entire conference this fall. In a statement CCIW said they continue to play even if that means traveling across the country. Carthage says they will allow one, non-conference outing per sport (scrimmage or otherwise) to be played after October 1st. The date and locations of those games have not been determined. The WIAC, Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Conference, which is home to UW-Stout and UW-Whitewater announced Monday they will not recognize conference play or hold championship games. As a result of the statement, UW-Whitewater canceled their season.
