Former Carthage College History Prof Writes Second 'Jackie" Book

May 15, 2021 10:15p

(WGTD)---Former Carthage College history professor William Kuhn never met Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, but he’s gotten to know her through the dozens of books she edited and some of the company she kept.

Kuhn’s first book on Kennedy Onassis focused on her work in her later years at two publishing houses.

A new book includes some of the material left out of the first one, as well as new interviews. “Jackie Stories” is based on conversations with eight of her friends and business associates, the most prominent of which is the late Nancy Tuckerman, a childhood friend of Jackie’s who later served as White House Social Secretary. Tuckerman rarely spoke to authors, but Kuhn has connections because Tuckerman once worked for his book publisher.

Kuhn was Greg Berg's guest on WGTD's Morning Show. Click here for the full interview.
