(WGTD)---Gun trigger and cable locks have been added to several Kenosha County-run vending machines that are already stocked with harm-reduction items such as Narcan and fentanyl test kits.
Kenosha County Medical Examiner Patrice Hall notes that this year alone there have been eight firearm deaths, including homicides and suicides.
The Kenosha County Division of Behavioral Health Services maintains the vending machines.
One is located inside the Kenosha County Job Center in the commons area. Another is located outside of the Women, Infants and Children program at 2000 63rd St. while a third is located outside of the Sharing Center in Trevor.
All of the items are free.
