Kenosha Police are investigating the death of a man in his 30s whose body was found on an ice shelf near the Southport Beach House Sunday morning.
A passerby made the discovery. Police said the man had been there less than 12 hours.
Police didn't speculate on a possible cause of death. An autopsy was ordered.
The recovery of the body took over an hour as firefighters moved cautiously amid the ice floes.
