(WGTD)---A late pizza delivery allegedly led to threats and now jail time for a 33-year-old Racine man.
Jamar Edwards was charged Wednesday with making terrorist threats, a felony with a maximum penalty of three-and-a-half years.
According to the criminal complaint, Edwards was upset that the DeRango's pizza that he ordered on Memorial Day wasn't coming fast enough. He purportedly called the business about eight times to complain. DeRango's eventually canceled his order and issued a refund.
Edwards reportedly called again, threatening to show up with a shotgun to shoot employees.
That's when the restaurant called police, and officers arrested Edwards at his home. Edwards denied threatening to shoot anyone.
According to online records, Edwards was recently released from prison where he'd been serving time for a 2016 conviction for attempted murder.
