Aug. 20, 2026 9:15p

From WGTD News:

A Kenosha car dealer is being sued by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Kenosha Nissan allegedly violated federal law when it retaliated against several employees for reporting racial harassment and fired one of them. According to the suit, the incident at Kenosha Nissan happened in 2024. Upon learning that several employees had complained, management purportedly changed office policies and work schedules and began heavily disciplining employees for minor infractions, some of which were false. Several employees resigned for fear of being terminated. One was fired. WGTD reached out to the dealership for comment but hasn't heard back.

An owner of a Milwaukee-based restaurant chain with an outlet in Kenosha is facing felony charges relating to allegations that he sexually assaulted a child. The alleged incidents purportedly occurred in 2012 when Mahmoud Saed taught at Salam School. The allegations involve a 14 year-old student who is now an adult, according to CBS58. The TV station reports the victim's mother is also facing a felony charge of failure to protect a child after investigators said she encouraged the defendant to take things to the next level, believing Saed would marry the victim after she turned 18. After leaving the school in 2015, Saed and his brother opened a restaurant called "Shawarma House."
