A 56-year-old Indiana man was arrested Wednesday on charges of attempted sexual assault of a child---use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime---and---possession of child pornography. Richard Barney---of St. John, Indiana---traveled to Racine to allegedly have sex with what he thought was an 11-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl. According to a press release from the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, Barney had been communicating with an undercover investigator posing as a mother willing to sell her young daughters for sex. Barney reportedly sent pornographic photos---a picture of his face---and---his cell phone number to the undercover investigator. He is now in custody in the Racine County jail.
