Audio Sampler: Kenosha Crooner Jimmy Janis on "Noon Tunes" May 1-5

One of Kenosha's favorite crooners---Jimmy Janis---joins us all week on "Noon Tunes" to sing some of his favorite Frank Sinatra tunes. You can hear "Come Fly With Me" right here. Jimmy began his singing career in the Air Force in the 1950s and landed a spot on "The Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts" TV show on CBS-TV. During his career he performed with stars like Jerry Van Dyke, Frank Gorshin, Johnny Desmond, Skitch Henderson, Eddy Howard and Ramsey Lewis. And, he sang for many years with Kenosha's John Bunic Band. You can hear "Noon Tunes" as the last segment of The WGTD Midday News, Monday through Friday, about 12:20pm. We stream live---worldwide---at www.wgtd.org.
