(WGTD)---According to numbers provided by the state health department, another COVID-19-related death has been reported in Kenosha County, bringing the total to 14. No additional information was provided Sunday.
Statewide, the total number of deaths rose Sunday to 339, an increase of five from the day before.
Monday night, the Kenosha City Council is expected to approve an agreement with Carthage College that’ll allow first responders and other essential employees who’ve tested positive for the virus to quarantine in a Carthage dorm, away from their families. The offer also includes employees who have been or potentially could’ve been exposed to anyone with the virus. Two floors are expected to be set aside.
Tuesday night, the Racine City Council will consider filing a legal brief in support of Gov. Evers’ battle with Republicans over the extension of his ‘Safer-at-Home” order.
