A Waterford woman was formally charged Monday with running over her husband after the two argued late Saturday night.
32 year-old Terria Rudzinski is facing four counts, including causing great bodily harm while driving drunk and hit and run.
Her husband is said to be in critical but stable condition with skull and cervical fractures.
According to the criminal complaint, the two started to argue while driving home from a bar.
Two neighbors reported that they were on their respective porches late Saturday night when they heard a commotion coming from a car stopped in the road. One witness said he heard a woman yell for help and tell someone to get off of her. Another said he heard a thump just as the car began to accelerate.
After the car drove off, the witnesses could see that a man was left in the road laying in a pool of blood.
Investigators tracked down the defendant, who said that she ordered her husband out of the car after he pulled her hair. Both eventually exited the vehicle. She got back in and drove off after her husband smacked the passenger side windshield with his hand. And that's apparently when the husband was run over.
