Another shooting---another 19-year-old man is killed. This time…in Racine. On the heels of the shooting death of a 19-year-old man in Pleasant Prairie on Monday night---the Racine Police Department reports that a 19-year-old man died after being shot near the intersection of 12th and Center Streets just after 8 o’clock Wednesday night.
The Racine Journal Times reports that a man was observed being led away from the shooting scene in handcuffs by two Racine police officers---then---he was driven away in a squad car. The newspaper also reports that scanner traffic indicated that the family of the victim---whose name has not yet been released---had been in contact with the police.
No other information was provided by the Racine Police Department.
