Racine---An arrest has been made in the apparent shooting death of a three year-old boy.
The subject--after being questioned--was taken into custody Wednesday evening, according to a news release. The charging recommendation was not revealed.
Just before 6:30 Wednesday morning, police were called to 1812 Howe St. on a report of a death. The body of the child was found in the upper unit of the home.
The spokesman said later that the boy had been shot in the chest.
An autopsy is expected to be performed Thursday.
A gun has been recovered.
