(WGTD)---Few vacant spaces are available in the hot commercial corridor of Highway 50 as it runs through Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie.
One empty building will soon be filled by a new restaurant called “El Camino.”
It’s described as an upscale eatery that aims to duplicate a southern California atmosphere, with a menu that offers a blend of Mexican, East Asian and American cuisine.
El Camino will move in to the old Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que.
El Camino’s owners already have a successful track record in Kenosha. They operate La Fogata Mexican Grill and the adjacent Waterfront Warehouse. They also run the Lucky Star Pub in Burlington.
