(WGTD) Former Racine County Register of Deeds---Tyson Fettes---is being charged with patronizing a prostitute and soliciting a sexual act---in connection to a sex-trafficking operation in Rockford. According to a Rockford newspaper---Fettes is one of 28 people facing a combined 80 charges over alleged sex trafficking linked to the Chantilly Lace and Exclusive Lingerie stores in Rockford. They are commonly described as lingerie modeling shops. Those arrested ranged in age from 33---that is Fettes---to 76.

Fettes was appointed to the Register of Deeds position in Racine by Governor Scott Walker in 2011 after Jim Ladwig stepped down from the position following his election as county executive.  Fettes was then elected and re-elected in his own right in 2012 and 2016. Fettes left that position just this past April to become market president for the Community State Bank in Burlington. As of this morning---his name is no longer on the bank’s website.

And---according to the Burlington Town Board website---he is currently a town board supervisor.
