Town of Wheatland---One person is dead and three others are injured as the result of a Thursday night shooting incident.
According to a Kenosha County Sheriff's Dept. news release, two people were shot in a home in the 31500 blk. of 71st St. That's a couple blocks down the road from Luisa's Restaurant just off of Highway 50. One victim died at the scene.
A short while later, two other victims were discovered at the BP gas station in Paddock Lake. Those two apparently had been dropped off by the driver of a black 4-door sedan. Authorities were looking for both the car and driver.
According to unconfirmed scanner traffic, one of the individuals who was shot in the home had returned fire.
The three that were injured were taken to area hospitals.
Sheriff's deputies were being assisted at the scene by the Wheatland constable, State Patrol and Twin Lakes and Kenosha police.
