Gateway Technical College is reaching out to students who've been displaced by the sudden closure of ITT, a for-profit school that had a campus in suburban Milwaukee and several in the Chicago area.
Gateway announced Wednesday that a pair of information sessions have been scheduled for former ITT students who are interested in resuming their studies at Gateway. The first will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13th from 3-5 on the Racine campus. The second will be held Thursday from 11-1 on the Kenosha campus. A Gateway team of new student specialists, advisers, financial aid representatives and other student services staff members will be on hand.
Gateway will also waive several testing and registration fees for the displaced students. In addition, a $250 tuition voucher will be given away at each workshop.
