Kenosha---An autopsy was performed Tuesday on the body of a woman found Monday in Lake Michigan near the mouth of the Pike River.
The woman has been identified as Monique E. Harmon-Richards, a 28 year-old resident of North Chicago.
A man and his son made the discovery while walking along the beach Monday morning.
A police department spokesman told the Kenosha News that the death appeared to be recent and that there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body. The results of the autopsy weren't immediately announced.
