Kenosha Alderman G. John Ruffolo Waives Prelim in Felony Stalking Case

Kenosha Alderman G. John Ruffolo made a brief court appearance today and waived a preliminary hearing in his felony stalking case. He has been charged with stalking and harassing an ex-girlfriend for over 3 years. The 11-page criminal complaint against the sitting alderman detailed hundreds of unwanted contacts including text messages and phone calls as well as driving by her home and workplace. An arraignment has been scheduled for September 11th. The case has been assigned to Judge Bruce Schroeder. Ruffolo’s attorney will continue to negotiate a resolution with the state.
