Kenosha Bank Standoff Ends

Kenosha---A morning-long stand-off with a man claiming to have had a bomb ended late Friday morning.

The man had been holed up in the Johnson Bank at Glenwood Crossings on the city's north side.

Law enforcement personnel could be seen putting a handcuffed and shirtless man into a squad car at about 11:30.

The shopping center and 18th St. in front of it was closed during the ordeal.

At one point, it appeared that police were trying to communicate with the man via a loud speaker.
