With wind chills hovering near -45 degrees today would not be a good day to be without power---but---it happened to several thousand people around Kenosha County.
Alison Trouey---from WE Energies---said about 3,000 customers in Pleasant Prairie were without power for a time Wednesday morning due to equipment problems.
That number was down to under 100 customers by 9:15am on Wednesday and she said crews were working diligently to get all power restored within an hour.
She indicated the health and welfare of the WE Energies crews is important as well and the crews were advised to take frequent warming breaks in their trucks and cars.
She said a number of other limited outages had also been resolved.
