A man apparently killed himself in the front yard of his home in the 7400 blk. of 15th Ave. late Tuesday afternoon.
At least one neighbor reportedly witnessed the shooting from her home. The woman told WGTD News that the victim had a history of problems.
The bomb squad and a tactical team were called out of concern over what the man may have had inside, and whether another individual may have been hold up.
Police said Tuesday night those fears were unfounded.
