Kenosha Police Investigate Child Enticement Case Along 52nd St.

The Kenosha Police Department is investigating an attempted abduction Wednesday night.

The police report that at about 10pm---a juvenile was standing at a bus stop on 52nd Street---near 45th Avenue---when a silver Jeep SUV stopped nearby. The driver got out of the Jeep---approached the juvenile---and---asked if they needed a ride. The juvenile declined.

The driver got a little closer and asked again---and---again---the juvenile declined.

The driver then screamed “get in the car.”  The juvenile then began to scream causing the driver to get back in the Jeep and flee northbound on Pershing Boulevard.

The driver was described as Middle Eastern---approximately 6 feet tall---skinny build---approximately 27-32 years old---wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt.

The juvenile was not harmed in the incident.

Kenosha police are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle.
